It was a nervous start from the Nomads who somewhat disconcerted by the absence of their regular setter. Dartford took advantage of the Herts teams slow start and took an early lead. The Nomads finally got going but too late to save the set, which Dartford won 25 - 21.
Herts Nomads shook off the wobbles of the first set and came out all guns blazing, refusing to allow Dartford to get started and stormed the set 25 - 5.
Dartford fought back in the next two sets but Herts stayed strong taking both sets 25 -10 and 25 - 11
