Herts Nomads were a little shaky at the start of their match against Ashcombe
and took some time to settle into their game. Ashcombe established a
considerable lead and Herts were playing catch up for most of the set. However, once the team settled into their game they addressed the task at
hand and dominated the game with strong attacking. Herts finally won the set 25 -21.
The Nomads were firmly in control for the second set and won convincingly 25 - 13.
Ashcombe pulled out all the stops for the 3rd set and the Nomads hit some wobbly patches,
especially with serve receive. Consequently the team had to battle hard to ensure the win 25 -23.
