Herts Nomads took on Dartford with the same determination, tough serving
left Dartford standing in the first set and Herts took it comfortably 25 - 13.
Dartford fought back in the second set but could do little to stop the onslaught
of the Nomads attack. Dartford worked hard chasing down every ball and blocking well,
however, the Herts well schooled offence rose to the challenge and blasted a way through.
The Nomads experienced a major dip in oncentration at 24 - 12 allowing Dartford to get
some points back, before the Herts team finally won the set 25 - 18.
The Nomads stormed into the lead in the 3rd set with some really tough serving.
Dartford refused to give up and fought back hard, putting up a strong
block to try and thwart the Herts attack. The Nomads suffered a dip in
confidence and allowed Dartford back into the game.
The Herts team refocused on their task and took control once more.
To their credit Dartford fought to the end, but couldn't stop the Nomads taking the set 25 - 22.
