HVA will be following Volleyball England's lead and cancelling all county volleyball activities with immediate effect until 20 May 2020. St Albans Harriers have announced that after many years as a very active and successful volleyball club that that are closing the club down due to lack of members. Maks Kriveslo, the club's Secretary said "It's simply not viable from our perspective and so we are cutting our losses."

VK Barnet Club have decided to withdraw their Southgate Juniors team from Men's HVA Division 2 with immediate effect. Last year we unofficially adopted what was dubbed "The London Rule" to more fairly handle situations when a fixture could not be completed within the allotted court time available at the home team's venue.
